Adopting a cat from JJ's Helping Paws is a rewarding experience. Here’s how you can welcome a new furry family member into your home:

Browse Our Cats: Check out our Available Cats gallery to find a cat that fits your family’s lifestyle.
Submit an Application: Complete our Adoption Application Form (below) to tell us about yourself and your home and submit via email to jjshelpingpaws@gmail.com
Meet and Greet: Once your application is reviewed, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet with your chosen cat.
Home Visit: We may conduct a brief home visit to ensure your home is safe and suitable for your new pet.
Adoption Approval: After approval, you’ll complete the adoption paperwork and pay the adoption fee.
Bring Your Cat Home: Welcome your new family member and enjoy a lifetime of love and companionship!

Adoption Fees

Our adoption fees help cover the costs of the following:

- Spaying / Neutering

- Vaccinations

- Microchipping

- Other Medical Care

Our adoption fees are $150 for cats/kittens and $75 for senior felines.

Meet Socks, the resilient 5.5-year-old kitty who has made an incredible transformation! When Socks first came to us, he was frail and underweight, but thanks to his fighting spirit and love of life, he’s now a healthy 11 pounds and thriving. Though his left eye is hazy from a cataract, this brave little guy doesn’t let anything slow him down. After receiving a recommended course of FIP treatment and a major dental surgery, Socks is healthier than ever and ready to share his love with a forever family. He's FIV-positive, but don’t let that deter you - Socks is strong, full of life, and has so much love to give.

Socks is a true people-cat who adores attention. He’ll be the first to greet you at the door, eager to jump into your lap, nuzzle your neck, and shower you with affection. Whether it’s purring on your chest or soaking up a full-body massage, Socks enjoys every moment of companionship. Fostering Program

Open Your Heart and Home to a Cat in Need

Fostering is a wonderful way to provide temporary care for cats and kittens until they find their forever homes. It’s a crucial part of our mission, and your involvement can save lives.

Why Foster?

Save Lives: By fostering, you help us rescue more cats and kittens from shelters and streets.
Experience: If you’re not ready for a lifelong commitment, fostering is a great way to enjoy the company of a cat.
Support: We provide all the necessary supplies and support you’ll need during the foster period.

How to Become a Foster Caregiver

Apply to Foster: Fill out our Foster Application Form to get started.
Training and Orientation: Attend a brief training session to prepare for your new role.
Foster Placement: We’ll match you with a cat or kittens that suit your home and lifestyle.
Care and Love: Provide daily care, love, and socialization to your foster cats.
Adoption Events: Help your foster cats attend adoption events or meet potential adopters.

Fostering Support

We’re here to help you every step of the way. JJ's Helping Paws provides:

Medical Care: We cover all veterinary expenses.
Supplies: Food, litter, and other supplies are provided.
Guidance: Our team is available to answer questions and offer support.
